PRESONUS EarMix 16M 16x2 16-Channel AVB Personal In-Ear Monitor/Headphone Mixer

The EarMix 16M gives each performer control of their own monitor mix. It accepts 16 mono channels over an AVB network and mixes them down to a stereo output, so a singer can pull up more vocal and a drummer can pull up more click without anyone touching the front-of-house desk. A 1/8-inch stereo aux input adds a local source such as a phone or a backing track player. Each channel and the main mix have three-band EQ and a limiter, and channels can be linked in stereo pairs or grouped so related inputs move together. The headphone amplifier is loud and clean, with enough output for low-impedance in-ear monitors that many mixer headphone jacks cannot power properly. Balanced 1/4-inch TRS left and right outputs feed a wired IEM pack, powered speaker, or wedge. Two AVB Ethernet ports allow units to be chained, and up to 24 EarMix 16M units can sit on a network with a StudioLive Series III mixer, which covers a full band plus techs. Routing and channel setup are handled from a StudioLive Series III console or UC Surface, and up to 16 mix scenes can be stored on the unit itself for quick recall between sets or songs. Power comes from the included external supply or over Ethernet from a PoE switch, which removes one cable run from the stage. It is designed around StudioLive Series III systems and works with other AVB-enabled setups. A mic stand mount is available separately.
