Eris 5BT

The Eris 5BT is the largest of the Eris BT monitors and the one to pick when the room is bigger than a desk. Each cabinet pairs a 5.25-inch woven-composite low-frequency driver with a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter, and 100W of dual amplification produces 110 dB peak SPL at one meter with response from 55 Hz to 20 kHz. That bottom end covers most of what bass and kick actually do, so mix decisions hold up when the track moves to another system. Stereo Bluetooth 5.0 handles wireless playback from a phone, tablet, or laptop for reference listening and casual playback. Wired inputs cover balanced 1/4-inch TRS for an interface plus unbalanced 1/8-inch stereo and RCA for consoles, media players, and computers. High- and low-frequency Acoustic Tuning controls adjust the response for placement against a wall or on a desk. A front-panel 1/8-inch headphone output with its own amplifier takes over when the room needs quiet. Protection circuitry covers RF interference, output-current limiting, over-temperature, turn-on and turn-off transients, and subsonic content, and Power Saver mode engages after 40 minutes. Speaker wire, a 1/8-inch TRS to stereo RCA cable, and a stereo RCA to stereo TS cable are included.
