Presonus Eris Studio 4 Powered Active 4.5" Studio Monitor Speaker w/EBM Waveguide

The Eris Studio 4 is a compact powered monitor that gives small rooms a usable low end and a wide listening window. A custom EBM (Elliptical Boundary Modeled) waveguide shapes the high frequencies into 100 degrees of horizontal dispersion, which widens the sweet spot so you are not locked to one exact seating position. Vertical dispersion is deliberately narrower at 60 degrees, cutting reflections off the desk surface that otherwise blur the midrange. The 1-inch ultra-low-mass silk-dome tweeter reproduces transients accurately, and the 4.5-inch woven-composite woofer delivers the tight, punchy bass the Eris line is known for. A front-firing acoustic port and resonance-suppressing internal bracing extend bass response down to 55 Hz with no subwoofer, and 50W of Class AB biamplification reaches 100 dB peak SPL at one meter. Front porting also means the monitor still behaves when it has to sit closer to a wall than you would like. Acoustic Tuning controls include continuously variable HF and midrange adjustment of plus or minus 6 dB, a three-way Acoustic Space setting of flat, -2 dB, or -4 dB, and a highpass filter switchable off, 80 Hz, or 100 Hz. Rear-panel inputs cover balanced XLR and 1/4-inch plus unbalanced RCA, so interfaces, mixers, and consumer sources connect without adapters. An internal power supply with an IEC connector and a switch with on/off LED keeps the back panel simple, and an amplifier soft-start feature removes the pop on power-up.
