PRESONUS NSB 8.8 8x8 AVB Stagebox w/(8) XMAX Preamps+Rugged Steel Enclosure

The NSB 8.8 adds eight remote inputs and eight outputs anywhere you need them, connected to a StudioLive Series III mixer over a single Ethernet run. Eight locking combo mic/line inputs feed remote-controlled XMAX Class A preamps with gain compensation for shared input scenarios, and eight locking XLR line outputs handle monitor sends, amp feeds, or zone outputs. Inputs are controlled from a StudioLive Series III console or from free Universal Control and UC Surface software, so trim and phantom power change without anyone walking on stage. Gain compensation is what allows multiple mixers to work from the same inputs: each console adjusts its preamp level relative to the main mixer, so monitor and house engineers stay out of each other's way. The unit provides 16x8 AVB, combining eight direct input channels with eight gain-compensated channels. A built-in two-port AVB switch with locking XLR Ethernet jacks allows point-to-point or daisy-chained network layouts, so more NSB units can be added as the input list grows. Front-panel +48V indicators show phantom status at a glance and a Mute All button silences outputs instantly during setup or a problem. Power uses a locking IEC jack that will not shake loose. The rugged steel chassis with sturdy handles sits flat on the deck in stage box form and survives touring, and optional rack ears adapt it for rack installation. It is a compact way to bring eight channels to a drum riser, a satellite stage, or a distant input position.
