The NSB 8.8 Rack Mount Kit installs an NSB 8.8 AVB network stage box into a standard 19-inch rack. Beyond holding the unit in place, the kit solves the cable problem that comes with racking a stage box: one supplied panel carries two panel-mount Ethercon jacks, and once they are patched to the NSB 8.8 with the two included Ethernet cables, both AVB network ports are reachable from the front of the rack. That means network connections can be made and broken from the front during setup instead of reaching around the back of a loaded rack in the dark. The kit includes two rack ears, two panels, two Ethernet cables, and the mounting hardware needed for installation. For touring rigs, the Ethercon jacks also give a more secure, locking connection point than exposing the unit's own ports to repeated patching. For fixed installs, racking the NSB 8.8 keeps it protected and organized alongside amplifiers, network switches, and other equipment in the same enclosure.
