Presonus StudioLive 16.0.2 USB 16x2 Live/Recording Digital Mixer w/ Interface

The StudioLive 16.0.2 USB is a 16-channel digital mixer that works like an analog console and records like a studio interface. Twelve Class A XMAX mic preamps cover a full band, a worship team, or a school assembly, split across 8 mono and 4 stereo channel inputs on twelve 60 mm faders.

Every channel and bus carries Fat Channel processing: a 3-band semi-parametric EQ, compressor, downward expander, and limiter. The main bus adds a stereo 31-band graphic EQ for tuning a room, and two stereo 32-bit effects processors feed two internal FX buses. Four aux buses with pre and post-fader sends handle stage monitors or a broadcast feed.

The built-in 18-in/16-out USB 2.0 interface records every channel plus the stereo main mix at 24-bit, 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz, so a Sunday service or a rehearsal becomes a multitrack session on your computer. Scene and individual setting store and recall bring back a whole show, and MIDI I/O controls main and effects levels, recalls presets and Scenes, and doubles as a MIDI interface.

At 20 lb and rack-mountable, it moves between a club, a rehearsal room, and a small studio without a road crew. Extensive metering keeps levels visible at a glance, and the included software covers the rest: UC Surface control for Mac, Windows, and iPad, Capture live-recording software, Studio One Artist for production, and free QMix-UC for wireless aux control from iPhone, iPod touch, or Android. Small churches, schools, bands, clubs, and budget-conscious studios get one console for mixing and recording.
