The ProX X-4U7D packs four rack spaces into a shallow 7" depth, which is the point: it holds wireless microphone receivers, DJ effects, filters, and short-chassis processors in a case you can carry with one hand. Dual rack rails let you secure gear front and rear, and the standard 19" rail width accepts any rack unit that fits the depth. Removable front and rear lids with 2.5" door depth keep cables connected between gigs, so a four-receiver wireless rack is ready to go the moment you set it down. The shell is ATA-300 style, built from Signature Series certified laminated 3/8" plywood with steel ball corners, dual anchor rivets, recessed spring-action handle, recessed butterfly twist-lock latches, and industrial grade rubber feet for stacking. The Silver on Black Honeycomb exterior resists minor scratches, an advantage over flat laminate when the case rides in a packed van. Foam padding used in ProX cases contains 70% recycled content, and the case carries the ProX Limited Lifetime Warranty. Weight is 15 lb empty, small enough for a one-trip load-in with a mic rack in hand.
