Product Description

The ProX XC-MXF05 connects a headphone output to an XLR input. It is a 5-foot cable with a 1/8" (3.5mm) TRS mini plug on one end and a female XLR on the other, and the left and right channels are combined onto pin 2 of the XLR so a stereo source arrives as a single mono feed rather than half a signal.

That solves the problem every DJ, presenter and house tech runs into: a phone, tablet, laptop, MP3 player or voice recorder needs to feed a mixing console or powered speaker that only offers XLR. Playing walk-in music from a phone, running a backing track from a tablet app, sending a recorder into a console for playback, or feeding a video source into a PA all work with this one cable.

The build is 20 AWG x 2 oxygen-free copper conductors with a 93% braided OFC compact shield to keep noise out, and a compact cable diameter that reduces eddy currents. Contacts are gold and silver plated, connectors are ProX branded, and Complete Coil manufacturing holds consistent weave tolerances for accurate reproduction.
