The ProX XS-RANE72LT is an ATA-300 style flight case built to fit the Rane Seventy-Two (72) and Rane Seventy (70) mixers. The interior is cut to the unit's footprint and lined with high-density foam, so the gear stays put through load-in, transport, and storage. A removable front panel opens up the front controls and the headphone and mic jacks, so you can patch in without pulling the unit out of the case. A sliding laptop shelf with a cable pass-through holds a laptop above the deck during a set and slides back in at teardown. Space behind and beneath the unit holds power supplies, cables, and small accessories, so the rig travels as one piece. Construction is 3/8" Gig-Ready laminated plywood with an aluminum tongue-and-groove closure, steel ball corners for stacking and impact protection, recessed spring-action padded handles, and recessed butterfly twist-lock latches that accept a padlock. The Silver on Black Honeycomb Digital exterior resists the scuffs and scratches that come with regular gigging, and industrial rubber feet keep the case planted on risers and truck decks.
