The XT-SQ068 is a 0.68 ft (0.21 m) F34 square truss segment built for the load-in and load-out cycle of touring, rental, and exhibition work. It is made from EN-AW 6082-T6 aluminum with a 2 in (50 mm) main tube and a 0.08 in (2 mm) wall, and it carries an 11.42 in (290 mm) square profile that matches the rest of the XT-SQ series. The conical coupling system is genderless, so chords and fastening points line up precisely and the conical shape holds rigidity at the stress points while making the parts harder to damage. Assembly and breakdown need nothing more than a small brass or aluminum hammer. Because the XT-SQ series follows industry-standard F34 dimensions, it connects to most other conical-connector F34 truss you already own, so you can extend a rig rather than start over.
