The GS-436BK is an A-frame stand shaped specifically for electric guitars and basses. The 2" cradle opening matches the thinner body depth of a solidbody, so the guitar settles in without rocking the way it does in a wide acoustic cradle.

The cradle sits lower than a full-size stand at 16.3" overall height, which keeps the neck angle shallow and the center of gravity low. That is what you want on a stage floor where people walk past cables, or in a bedroom where a stand gets bumped.

At 2.6 lb with a 14.2" x 11.4" footprint, this is the version you keep in the gig bag. It folds flat to 17.7" and slides into a backpack pocket or the accessory compartment of a hardshell case, so every guitar you bring gets a stand instead of leaning against an amp.

The 30 x 15 mm tier tubing keeps the frame rigid at that weight, and the black finish disappears against a dark stage.
