QL-400

The QL-400 is a rolling studio stand for gear between 14" and 21" wide: remote units, digital and analog multitrack recorders, MIDI data controllers, and small mixers up to 26" deep. The platform adjusts in width from 14" to 21", in depth from 11.8" to 16", and tilts through a 360 degree range, so the surface conforms to the box you are putting on it rather than the other way around.

Padded cushions on the platform hold gear firmly without marking the chassis. Five locking height positions (27.2", 29.7", 32.3", 34.8", and 37.4", measured from the platform tilt swivel to the floor) let you work seated at a console or standing at a rack.

The base is a five-wheel injection-molded plastic design with locking casters and a 22.8" spread. Unlock the casters and the whole rig rolls to wherever the session needs it, then lock them and it stays put during tracking. Load capacity is 80 lb and the stand weighs 13.8 lb.

Suited to home, project, and multimedia studios, and to professional recording rooms where one control surface has to move between a tracking position and a mix position without unplugging everything.
