RCM01 + PSP5

Condenser microphones need 48V phantom power to operate, and not every audio interface or mixer provides it. This bundle solves that by pairing the Rockville RCM01 condenser mic with the PSP5, a dedicated 48V phantom power supply that sits between the mic and any recording device. If you have a basic mixer without phantom power, or you want to connect the mic to equipment that only has line-level inputs, the PSP5 fills the gap with ultra-low-noise power in a compact aluminum housing.

The RCM01 itself uses a 25mm electret condenser capsule with a cardioid polar pattern and an equivalent noise level of just 18dBA. The all-metal construction (steel basket and zinc alloy body) keeps the mic resistant to handling vibrations, and a metal shock mount is included. Two 10' cables come in the box: XLR-to-XLR and 3.5mm-to-XLR. The PSP5 has one XLR input and one XLR output, runs on an included DC 5V adapter, and measures just 3.9" x 3.5" x 1.6" so it fits anywhere on a desk. A foam windscreen rounds out the kit.
