sE7 Pair

This pair of sE7 back-electret condensers is the practical answer to stereo pencil-mic work: drum overheads, XY on acoustic guitar, piano, choir, orchestral strings and percussion, on stage or in the studio.

Each mic uses a 1/2" back-electret cardioid capsule with an optimized acoustic design, discrete Class-A circuitry and a transformerless output, so response stays clear and natural across the full 20 Hz to 20 kHz range on both channels. Extremely low-noise components hold self-noise to 16 dB with a 78 dB signal-to-noise ratio, keeping quiet acoustic sources clean.

Switchable -20 dB pads take max SPL to 156 dB per mic, enough for close overheads on a hard-hit kit, and switchable 80 Hz low-cut filters strip out stage rumble and kick bleed before they reach the preamp.

Each body measures 23 mm across and 120 mm long at 128 g, small enough to place between cymbals and toms where larger mics will not fit, and light enough that clips hold position on long boom arms. Mic clips with thread adapters and wind screens are included for both.
