T2 Pair

This pair of T2 large-diaphragm condensers arrives with a stereo mounting bar, so XY, ORTF, Blumlein and mid-side setups are ready out of the case. Each mic carries a hand-crafted 1" titanium-sputtered true condenser capsule with four switchable patterns: cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional and figure-8.

Titanium is much stiffer and roughly three times lighter than gold, so transients arrive with accurate definition rather than rounding off. Across a stereo pair, that keeps cymbal and stick detail intact on overheads and preserves the leading edge of piano and percussion.

Having four patterns in both bodies opens up every common stereo technique: cardioid XY, figure-8 Blumlein, mid-side pairing, spaced omni arrays. Max SPL reaches 157 dB with the -20 dB pad, so close overheads on a hard-hit kit stay clean, and switchable 40 and 80 Hz bass-cut filters trim low-end buildup on both channels.

Discrete electronics keep the control set to what engineers actually use. Each all-metal body measures 146 mm long at 290 g, compact enough to reach around a kit where larger condensers cannot. Recommended for drums, percussion, overheads, hi-hats, orchestral strings, piano, bass and electric guitar cabs, acoustic guitar, vocals, woodwinds and brass. Two shockmounts, thread adapters, the stereo mounting bar and a metal case are included.
