Product Description

The V2 SWITCH is a handheld dynamic microphone with an integrated no-slip on/off switch, built for situations where the person holding the mic needs to control it without waiting on a console. Its balanced sound character suits vocals, speech, talkback, and paging.

The supercardioid capsule is tailored for close work. It picks up what sits directly in front of it and rejects sound arriving from the sides and rear, which keeps monitor wedges and nearby sources out of the signal and gives you more gain before feedback. Response runs 50 Hz to 16,000 Hz with 2.8 mV/Pa sensitivity and a 630 ohm output, a range focused on speech and vocal clarity.

The recessed switch is the reason to choose this model. It stays where you set it, so a presenter, a guest speaker, or a tech crew member can mute between cues without hunting for a fader, and it will not flip on by accident in a bag or on a stand.

Construction is all metal, with a stainless spring steel mesh grille that resists dents and corrosion and a beveled edge that keeps the mic from rolling off a podium or amp cabinet. A gold-plated XLR connector holds a reliable signal connection over years of plugging and unplugging, and an integrated windscreen and shockmount cut plosives and handling noise.

Practical fits include houses of worship, conference rooms, school auditoriums, community theatres, rehearsal rooms, front-of-house talkback positions, and warehouse paging.

Features

    • Mute Control In Your Hand

The recessed no-slip switch lets a speaker or crew member cut the mic between cues without touching a console, and it will not flip on accidentally.

    • More Volume Before Feedback

The supercardioid pattern rejects sound from the sides and rear, so you can push a room louder before the mic starts to ring.

    • Clear Speech Reproduction

A 50 Hz to 16,000 Hz range with 2.8 mV/Pa sensitivity keeps announcements and vocals intelligible without adding low-end rumble you have to filter out.

    • Built To Get Knocked Around

All-metal housing and a stainless spring steel mesh grille resist dents and corrosion, and the beveled edge stops the mic rolling off a podium.

    • Quiet Handling

An integrated windscreen and shockmount reduce plosive pops and mechanical vibration, so movement and breath noise stay out of the signal.
