V7 MC2

The V7 MC2 is a wireless microphone capsule that brings V7 sound to a handheld transmitter you already own. It uses the same supercardioid dynamic capsule as the wired V7, so a singer moving between a cabled mic and a wireless handheld hears the same voice in the monitors.

The supercardioid pattern rejects sound arriving from the sides and rear, which gives high gain before feedback and keeps wedge and drum bleed out of a wireless channel that is often running close to the PA. A specialized aluminum voice coil and neodymium magnet deliver 2.0 mV/Pa sensitivity across 40 Hz to 19 kHz, capturing a voice with the crisp, open character the V7 is known for.

A patented integrated shockmount decouples the capsule from the transmitter body, so the handling noise that comes with a moving vocalist stays out of the signal. The all-metal beveled spring grille resists dents and corrosion, and its switchable internal windscreen lets you set plosive control for a specific voice.

It fits Sennheiser wireless handheld systems, so you keep your existing receivers, frequency coordination, and racks while the vocal chain gets the V7 capsule.

At 116 g (4.09 oz) and 87 mm (3.43 in.), it swaps onto a transmitter in seconds without tools, which makes it practical for a house of worship, a touring rig, a rental inventory, or a venue that wants consistent vocal tone across wired and wireless positions.
