Product Description
The switch uses a proven reed element, which means silent, click-free operation. Nothing lands in the in-ear mixes or the PA when you turn the mic on or off mid-set, which is the difference between a usable talkback mic and one everybody complains about. Because the switch is recessed and lockable, it will not get flipped by accident in a bag, on a stand, or in a guest speaker's hand.
The supercardioid capsule rejects sound from the sides and rear, so a position sitting inside PA coverage still gets usable gain before feedback. A 40 Hz to 19 kHz range at 2.0 mV/Pa sensitivity captures a voice with a crisp, open character, and a patented integrated shockmount cuts handling noise and desk thumps.
Housing is all metal with a beveled spring grille, dent-resistant and corrosion-free through sweat and humidity, and it connects over a standard 3-pin male XLR at 300 ohms.
Practical fits include talkback from behind a console, houses of worship, conference rooms and panel discussions, school auditoriums, rehearsal spaces, and any handheld passed between speakers who should be able to mute it themselves.
Features
-
Silent On And Off
A proven reed element switches the mic without a click, so nothing lands in the in-ears or the PA when you mute mid-performance.
-
Stays Where You Set It
The recessed, lockable switch resists accidental knocks in a bag, on a stand, or in a guest speaker's hand during a panel.
-
Usable Gain At A Console
Supercardioid rejection of side and rear sound keeps a talkback position workable even when it sits inside the main PA coverage.
-
Crisp, Open Voice
A 40 Hz to 19 kHz range at 2.0 mV/Pa captures speech and vocals with clear detail and enough body to sit forward in a mix.
-
Road-Ready Build
All-metal housing, a beveled spring grille, and a patented integrated shockmount handle knocks, sweat, and handling noise across long runs.
