V7 X

The V7 X is a supercardioid dynamic microphone built to capture instruments on stage and in the studio. Its aluminum voice coil and dynamic capsule cover 30 Hz to 19 kHz, so low end from a bass cab or kick drum lands with weight while cymbal wash and string detail stay clear.

The supercardioid pattern is tight. It picks up what you point it at and rejects what you do not, which matters on a crowded stage or a live drum kit where a snare mic also hears the hi-hat and a cab mic hears the whole band. That isolation gives you more gain before feedback live and cleaner tracks to mix later.

Use it on acoustic guitar, electric and bass guitar cabs, snare, toms, percussion, piano, brass, woodwinds, harmonica, orchestral strings, and vocals when you need it. Sensitivity is 2.0 mV/Pa (-54 dB) through a 300 Ohm output and a 3-pin male XLR, so it works with any standard mic input and needs no phantom power.

At 176 mm long, 47 mm in diameter, and 269 g, it fits standard clips and sits comfortably in tight positions around a kit or in front of a cab. The included mic clip, thread adapter, black internal windscreen, and carrying pouch cover mounting and transport. Multi-packs ship without the pouch and spare windscreen.
