Notepad-5* [Open Box]

The Soundcraft Notepad-5 brings a compact analog mixer and a built-in USB audio interface together for anyone starting a podcast, home studio, or small recording setup without wanting to compromise on sound quality. A single mic/line combo input runs through a high-quality Soundcraft microphone preamp, with Hi-Z switching available for guitars and other high-impedance sources. Two EQ controls per channel give more shaping than most entry-level mixers offer, and a rotary headphone volume control makes it easy to dial in a comfortable monitoring level. A stereo line input with trim and an RCA stereo playback input round out the connections, and the built-in USB interface sums with the RCA input to feed channel 4/5, letting a Mac or PC connect directly for recording, editing, and playback without a separate audio interface. A main level control with LED metering keeps the output visible at a glance, and the durable metal enclosure is built to handle daily use in a home studio or on the go. As the smallest model in the Notepad line, alongside the -8FX and -12FX, the Notepad-5 is a fit for a singer-songwriter, solo podcaster, or anyone capturing monologues and interviews who wants Soundcraft's signature sound in the smallest possible footprint.
