Product Description

The Soundcraft Ui24R is a rack-mountable digital mixer and multi-track recorder with no control surface. All mixing happens in a browser on a tablet, phone, Mac, or PC, and built-in dual-band Wi-Fi supports up to 10 devices without a separate router or the venue network. Musicians can set their own monitor mix on stage while the front-of-house engineer works the room.

Twenty-four channels come from 10 combo 1/4" TRS/XLR inputs, 10 XLR inputs, 2 line-level inputs, and 2 channels of digital USB playback. Twenty Studer-designed preamps take everything from a kick mic to a keyboard DI with headroom to spare. The unit can also work as a stagebox, which keeps analog runs short.

Recording is dual-path: all 22 inputs plus the stereo mix write to a USB storage device and a connected computer at the same time, so a single point of failure does not cost you the show. The multi-channel USB audio interface also drops the Ui24R into a studio setup for DAW production work.

Processing includes 4-band parametric EQ, high-pass filter, compressor, de-esser, and noise gate on input channels, with 31-band graphic EQ, noise gate, compressor, and dbx AFS2 automatic feedback suppression on all outputs. Lexicon reverb, chorus, and delay cover vocals and acoustic guitar, dbx compression tightens up dynamics, and two channels of DigiTech guitar amp modeling let players work at low stage volume. A real-time analyzer runs on inputs and outputs.

The 4U chassis is built for the road and works with the HARMAN Connected PA system for faster setup. It suits touring bands, houses of worship, theaters, and venues that want large-console capability in a few rack spaces.

Features

    • Twenty Studer-Designed Preamps

Twenty Studer-designed preamps carry everything from a kick mic to a keyboard DI with headroom to spare on live and recorded sources.

    • Recording With A Backup Path

All 22 inputs and the stereo mix write to a USB storage device and a connected computer at once, so one failure point cannot lose the show.

    • Wi-Fi Without The Venue Router

Built-in dual-band Wi-Fi connects up to 10 devices with no router or house network, so band members and the engineer both keep control.

    • Feedback Control On Every Output

dbx AFS2 automatic feedback suppression runs on all outputs, keeping monitor wedges and mains stable when a mic ends up near a speaker.

    • Large Console Capability In 4U

The rackmount chassis holds 24 inputs, full channel processing, Lexicon effects, and DigiTech amp modeling in four rack spaces built for the road.
