Product Description

The TXP1.18000D is a 1-ohm stable monoblock Class D amplifier for high output SPL and street bass builds that have outgrown standard digital amplifiers. Tarantula XTREME POWER amplifiers use silicon steel alloy core power supply transformers instead of traditional toroidal designs. Silicon steel cores pass more current more efficiently, which means more power reaches your speakers without a bed full of batteries and industrial gauge wiring. Output is 1,800W RMS at 4 ohms, 3,600W RMS at 2 ohms, and 7,000W RMS at 1 ohm, with 18,000W max power on tap. Variable 12dB high pass, low pass, and subsonic crossovers set the working band: low pass covers 80Hz to 20KHz, high pass runs 15Hz to 80Hz, and bass boost adds 0 to 12dB at 50Hz. Frequency response spans 20Hz to 20KHz with a 105 dB signal-to-noise ratio and less than 0.3% THD. Inputs take 200mV to 6V high level or low level RCA signal, with RCA output for daisy chaining a second amplifier. Military grade SMT PCB construction keeps performance stable under vibration, and direct short, thermal, and overload circuits protect the amplifier when a wire shorts or airflow drops. Operating voltage runs 9V to 16V DC, so it stays alive through voltage dips during heavy bass notes. LED accent lighting lights the circuit board for show installs, and the included dash mount gain control module puts subwoofer level in the cabin. The chassis measures 10.5 x 8.25 x 2.75 inches.

Features

    • Power For Serious SPL

A 1-ohm stable monoblock design puts out 7,000W RMS at 1 ohm and 18,000W max, enough headroom for large multi-subwoofer competition builds.

    • More Current, Less Hardware

Silicon steel alloy core transformers pass far more current than toroidal designs, so power reaches your subs without an extreme battery and wiring bank.

    • Tuning You Control

Variable 12dB high pass, low pass, and subsonic crossovers plus 0-12dB bass boost at 50Hz let you shape output around your enclosure.

    • Stable Under Load

Military grade SMT construction, a 9V to 16V operating range, and short, thermal, and overload protection keep the amplifier alive through voltage dips.

    • Bass Level In The Cabin

The included dash mount gain control module adjusts subwoofer output from the front seat, and LED accent lighting shows the board off.
