The TXP1.6000D is a 1-ohm stable monoblock Class D amplifier for bass builds that need real power without taking over the trunk. Tarantula XTREME POWER amplifiers use silicon steel alloy core power supply transformers instead of traditional toroidal designs. Silicon steel cores pass more current more efficiently, which means more power reaches your speakers without a bed full of batteries and industrial gauge wiring. Output is 700W RMS at 4 ohms, 1,200W RMS at 2 ohms, and 2,350W RMS at 1 ohm, with 6,000W max power. That range covers a single large subwoofer or a pair wired down to 1 ohm. Variable 12dB high pass, low pass, and subsonic crossovers define the working band, with low pass from 80Hz to 20KHz, high pass from 15Hz to 80Hz, and 0 to 12dB of bass boost centered at 50Hz. Frequency response runs 20Hz to 20KHz with a 105 dB signal-to-noise ratio and under 0.3% THD. High level or low level RCA inputs accept 200mV to 6V, and RCA output passes signal to a second amplifier without a splitter. Military grade SMT PCB construction holds up to road vibration, and direct short, thermal, and overload protection circuits shut the amplifier down before a fault causes damage. A 9V to 16V DC operating range keeps it running through voltage sag on heavy notes. LED accent lighting illuminates the circuit board for show installs, and the included dash mount gain control module keeps subwoofer level within reach. The chassis measures 5.75 x 8.25 x 2.75 inches.
