SAEv4-1500D

The SAEv4-1500D is a Class D monoblock rated at 1500W x 1 at 1 ohm, 800W x 1 at 2 ohms, and 450W x 1 at 4 ohms. The half-bridge design holds output clean across that range, which makes it a straightforward match for a single high-power subwoofer or a pair of subs wired to 1 ohm.

Controls are built around what a bass channel needs. The 12dB variable low pass filter sweeps 40 Hz to 180 Hz to set the crossover point between the sub and your midbass, and the 12dB subsonic filter covers 10 Hz to 40 Hz to keep content below box tuning from eating power and excursion. Phase shift control from 0 to 180 degrees lets you align the sub with the front stage, useful in trunk builds where the box fires rearward.

Four-way protection circuitry watches thermal, voltage, speaker short, and DC-offset conditions, and power, clipping, and protection indicators tell you what the amp is doing at a glance. A heavy aluminum heat sink handles thermal control through long, loud playback.

The included wired remote adds a clipping indicator, so you can raise sub level from the driver seat and back off before the signal goes past clean output.

Operating voltage is 10.5V to 15.5V with a 140A recommended fuse. At 12.48 by 6.3 by 2.75 inches, it mounts under a seat, behind a rear seat, or on a compact amp rack.
