SFB-2000D

The SFB-2000D is a Class D monoblock rated at 2000W RMS at 1 ohm, 1500W at 2 ohms, and 950W at 4 ohms, with measured output up to 2350W at 14.4V. It is the step up in the SFB line for people who want more headroom on a demanding subwoofer setup.

The full-bridge SFB design keeps the chassis small for the output: 7.50 by 7.25 by 2.50 inches. A dual MOS-FET PWM power supply handles current delivery, and the amp is 1-ohm stable, so you can wire dual-voice-coil subs down to a single low-impedance load and use the full rating.

Controls cover a 12 dB per octave variable low pass filter and a variable high pass filter, plus 0 to 12 dB of variable bass boost for shaping the low end after the box is built. Signal to noise ratio is 100 dB, which keeps the noise floor low even at high gain settings.

A four-way protection circuit watches thermal, voltage, speaker short, and DC-offset conditions. The included remote level control has a clipping indicator, so you can adjust bass level from the seat and see when you are past clean output rather than guessing by ear.

Working voltage is 10.5V to 15.5V DC with a 180A recommended fuse. Plan power wire, ground, and battery capacity around that number, since a starved electrical system will limit output before the amp does.
