SIA-5000D V2

The SIA-5000D V2 is a full-bridge mono amplifier built for high-output bass systems, rated 5,000W RMS at 1 ohm, 4,950W RMS at 2 ohms, and 3,400W RMS at 4 ohms. Output barely drops between 1 and 2 ohms, so a pair of dual voice coil subwoofers can be wired the way the install calls for without leaving power on the table.

A heavy heatsink handles the thermal load, and a three-speed Smart Cooling fan raises airflow as the amplifier heats up. Combined with the power supply design, that keeps output from sagging or distorting through repeated high-power runs, which is the difference between an amp that finishes the song and one that goes into protection.

Tuning is handled on the chassis. A variable 12dB low pass filter covers 40Hz to 20kHz, a variable 12dB high pass filter covers 10Hz to 1kHz, a subsonic filter protects the woofer below box tuning, and a variable 12dB bass boost sits at 50Hz. Input sensitivity is 5V max and signal-to-noise ratio is 108dB. Operating voltage runs 10.5V to 15.5V DC, and the recommended fuse rating is 220A x 2, so plan the charging system and wire gauge around it.

Protection circuitry monitors thermal load, voltage, speaker shorts, and DC offset, with power, protection, and clipping indicators on board. The chassis measures 13.78" x 8.86" x 2.68", and the included wired remote keeps bass level under your hand from the seat.
