The RX400X4 powers eight speakers from one chassis across four channels, with each channel carrying its own volume control for a pair of speakers. That layout is the whole point: a restaurant can set the patio quieter than the dining room, a shop can turn down the stockroom, and a house can run the deck, kitchen, den, and garage at four different levels from one unit. Peak power is 1600W, with banana binding post outputs on all four channels plus an RCA record line out. Sources include Bluetooth, RCA, USB, SD card, and AUX, with USB and SD media up to 128 GB playing .mp3 files. Recording runs from the AUX or RCA inputs onto USB or SD as .mp3 files, which is useful for archiving a service, a rehearsal, or a meeting without adding a recorder. Repeat and random playback are available on USB and SD, and the display shows track number and elapsed time alongside a digital fluorescent output display. Dual 1/4" microphone inputs carry volume, echo, and delay controls, and a mic priority switch drops the music automatically when someone speaks, which is exactly what a paging or announcement setup needs.
