The Technical Pro WMU71 is a plug-and-play wireless microphone system for setups where a rack of gear is more than the job needs. The receiver runs on 2.4GHz and draws power from a USB port, so a laptop, a TV, a powered speaker with a service port, or a phone charger is enough to get it working. Its female USB port passes the connection through, so you do not give up the port you just used.

Single-signal 2.4GHz operation with digital sound processing keeps latency low and audio clear at up to 150 feet from the receiver, which covers a classroom, a fitness studio, a warehouse floor, or a backyard ceremony. The handheld runs on a rechargeable 18650 lithium battery at 3.7V, so there is no scramble for AA cells before an event, and its dynamic cardioid pattern focuses on the voice while cutting the room noise behind it.

Compatibility is the practical strength here. The microphone works with any device that has a 1/4" or 3.5mm mic input, including powered speakers, computers, DJ mixers, TVs, DVD players, and home receivers, and the included 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter covers the switch between them. Frequency response spans 20Hz-30kHz.
