Product Description

Add a dedicated low-frequency foundation to a vehicle audio system with a dual 12-inch vented subwoofer enclosure and a matched single-channel Class D amplifier. The enclosure’s two subwoofers are rated for 500 W RMS each, or 1,000 W RMS combined, while the included TNA500D amplifier delivers 500 W RMS x 1 at 2 Ohms. Its variable 40 Hz to 200 Hz low-pass filter and 20 Hz to 40 Hz subsonic filter let you set the signal range for the installation. The enclosure uses 0.63-inch MDF and is wrapped in black carpet. A bonus 50 sq ft sound-deadening kit adds 20 sheets of butyl rubber, acoustical foam, and aluminum, plus a wood-and-steel roller. The layered sheets are intended to reduce vibration and cabin noise while helping retain bass clarity. Use the sheets on vehicle panels such as doors, floors, or the trunk. Wiring is not included, so plan for that separately.
