VMA160 + (4) CCL5T Black + WiiM Mini

This kit puts a full 70V background music and paging system in one box, with streaming built in. The JBL VMA160 mixer/amplifier sends 60 watts to four Rockville CCL5T 5" ceiling speakers, and the WiiM Mini streamer feeds it music from Spotify, TIDAL, Pandora, Amazon Music, AirPlay 2, and more over Wi-Fi. It's a complete setup for a restaurant, office, retail store, salon, or school, with no hunting for parts that match.

Because the system runs on 70 volts, wiring is simple: every speaker connects in parallel on one line, and you can run long cable lengths without signal loss or impedance math. Each CCL5T has a transformer with 5W, 2.5W, and 1.25W taps, so you can set the dining room louder than the hallway or restroom. Four speakers tapped at 5W use 20W, leaving plenty of headroom on the 60W amp to add more speakers later.

The VMA160 handles more than music. Five inputs cover mics, line sources, and stereo RCA, with 27VDC phantom power for condenser mics, a paging chime, and priority muting that drops the music when someone makes an announcement. Bass and treble controls let you tune the sound to the room, and rack mounting hardware is included. The WiiM Mini plugs into the amp's input and streams Hi-Res audio up to 192 kHz/24-bit, with Alexa and Siri voice control from your phone or smart speaker. The paintable flush-mount grilles on the speakers blend into nearly any ceiling.
