The VRX932LA-1 is a 46 lb 12-inch two-way passive line array cabinet built to fly in arrays of up to six units. It is the working choice for regional touring, houses of worship, and rental stock that needs real array coverage without moving to a large-format system and the truck space that comes with it. A JBL 2262H 12-inch Differential Drive woofer with neodymium magnet, dual voice coils, and dual magnetic gaps handles low frequencies at 800W continuous, keeping weight down for a cabinet this size. Three 2408J Annular Ring Diaphragm compression drivers cover the top end on a Constant Curvature waveguide, and that arc continues across every cabinet added to the array, so the drivers behave as one long source rather than separate boxes fighting each other. Array Configuration Selector switches allow amplitude shading in passive mode, so the top box carries the back of the room while lower boxes are shaded to keep front rows comfortable. Coverage is 100 by 15 degrees nominal, and crossover switches between passive and bi-amp operation at 1.2 kHz. Maximum output is 130 dB SPL peak in passive mode. Integral rigging hardware locks enclosures together and connects to the optional array frame, and a dual-angle pole socket lets one or two cabinets mount on a 35 mm pole or tripod for smaller shows.
