WIIM PRO

The WiiM Pro is a network music streamer that adds Wi-Fi and Bluetooth playback to a stereo system you already own. Connect it to an amplifier, receiver, or powered speakers through line out, SPDIF out, or coaxial out, and it handles the streaming while your existing gear does the amplification.

Output reaches 192 kHz/24-bit, matching an artist's studio recording, and the integrated TI stereo DAC is rated at 106 dB SNR with -92 dB THD+N. Hi-res files from Amazon Music, TIDAL, Qobuz, Deezer, and Spotify play at full resolution, and supported formats include MP3, AAC, ALAC, APE, FLAC, WAV, WMA, and OGG. A NAS or a folder of local files can serve as the source instead.

Setup takes about two minutes. The Pro appears automatically in the WiiM Home app, which also holds playback control, presets, alarms, and routines that start or stop music on a schedule. Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant handle spoken requests.

Multiroom playback holds devices within 150 microseconds of each other anywhere your Wi-Fi reaches, and two units can be joined as a stereo pair for a wider sound stage. Multiroom works from Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, aux, and SPDIF sources, not only network streams. Gapless playback uses two decoders to remove padding at file boundaries, which matters on live concert recordings and classical tracks. Adaptive EQ reads genre tags and adjusts frequency response in real time, and automatic delay calibration measures audio path latency with the on-device microphone to hold sync.

Connectivity covers dual-band 802.11 b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, 100M Ethernet, and Bluetooth 5.0 as both receiver and transmitter. Capacitive touch buttons cover play/pause, volume, and one preset.
