Product Description

The 554 is an I-Bar marine terminal adapter with 5/16" and 3/8" studs, built for top post connections only. If all of your cabling comes down onto the battery from above, a top-only adapter is the cleaner choice: nothing sticks out to the side, which matters in a tight battery box, under a boat seat, or in a compartment where the battery sits close to a wall. Two stud sizes come on the adapter, so you can land a 5/16" ring terminal from a charging or accessory lead and a 3/8" ring terminal from heavy amplifier or inverter power cable without reworking the ends you already crimped. Marine-style studs are built for cables that get connected and disconnected regularly, which describes seasonal boat batteries, competition vehicles that get pulled apart between events, and any install where a battery gets removed for charging. The 554 fits into the XS Power I-Bar hardware system alongside the other studs, bolts, and adapters.
