XS Power D1600 16V AGM Battery with 3/8" Stud Terminals, Max 2400Amps

The D1600 is a 16 volt AGM racing battery in a BCI Group 34 case, built for vehicles with high-compression engines and electrical systems that need more voltage than a standard battery provides. Higher supply voltage means faster starter rotation on a tight motor and more headroom for the ECU, fuel pump, ignition, gauges, and cooling fans that all pull at once on a hot lap. Peak output reaches 2,400 amps, with 775 cranking amps and 682 cold cranking amps. Capacity is 56Ah with 96 minutes of reserve, enough to run the vehicle and its aftermarket electronics between rounds without an alternator turning. Absorbent Glass Mat construction is sealed against spills and moisture and takes vibration well, which is what matters in a race car that gets shaken hard and inspected for spill containment. It can be mounted in the trunk, behind a seat, or inside a cage-mounted battery box. 587 stud adapter hardware is included, converting the terminals to 3/8 inch studs so heavy cable with large ring terminals lands correctly. A 16 volt battery requires a charging system and accessories rated for 16 volt operation, or a step-down module for 12 volt circuits.
