The XS Power XP950 is a 12V AGM secondary battery in a BCI Group U1R case, adding 950W of stored power with 950 max amps, 35 amp hours, and 50 minutes of reserve capacity. It sits between the small power cells and the full-size units, which makes it a practical match for mid-power systems.

Wired in as a second battery, the XP950 covers current spikes that a single battery cannot handle cleanly. An amplifier pulling on bass notes draws from the cell instead of the starting battery, so voltage holds and the lights stay steady. It also carries accessory loads well: a light bar on a UTV, cabin electronics on an overnight trip, or a small inverter running tools.

Absorbent Glass Mat construction holds the electrolyte in fiberglass mat, so the battery is sealed, non-spillable, and comfortable in mounting positions and locations that rule out a flooded battery. That includes inside the cabin, in a trunk rack, or in an exposed box that sees weather and washouts. The design also resists the vibration that comes with rough roads and high-output subwoofers.

The U1R footprint is compact for the capacity: 7.68 by 5.12 by 6.61 inches at 24.5 lb, small enough for tight installs while still offering nearly an hour of engine-off reserve. M6 terminal hardware is included and a two year warranty applies.
