This pendant speaker system pairs two JBL Control 68HP 8" coaxial pendants with the Rockville RCS350-6 6-zone amplifier, giving open-ceiling spaces a complete 70V setup from a single order. Retail floors, restaurants, fitness centers, lobbies, and showrooms with exposed ductwork or high ceilings get clear, even sound without cutting into ceiling tiles or hiring out a custom system design.

Each Control 68HP uses an 8" Kevlar-reinforced woofer with a coaxially mounted 1" titanium-dome compression driver, handling 250W of continuous pink noise power (1000W peak) and reaching 114 dB continuous SPL. The 110° constant-directivity pattern spreads coverage wide and consistent, so fewer speakers cover more floor. A built-in multi-tap transformer runs at 68W, 34W, 17W, or 8.5W on 70V lines, or switches to 8 ohm direct, and two hanging cable systems with 15 ft of galvanized steel wire rope let you set the drop height exactly where you want it.

The RCS350-6 puts out 350W at 70V or 100V and splits it across six zones, each with its own volume knob. With both pendants tapped at 68W, you're using less than half of the amp's recommended 300W load, which leaves room to add ceiling, wall, or pendant speakers in other zones later. Bluetooth streaming, FM radio, USB and SD playback, optical and RCA inputs, and three mic inputs with echo control cover background music, announcements, and events. A chime button signals paging, a clipping limiter protects the speakers and amp, and removable rack ears fit a standard 19" rack.
