K72 [Open Box]

The AKG K72 is a closed-back stereo studio headphone built to deliver authoritative, extended low-frequency response, giving definition to kick drums and bass guitars while keeping vocals and acoustic instruments detailed and balanced. Generous 40mm drivers provide high sensitivity for powerful output, and a low-impedance design keeps the K72 compatible with everything from professional studio gear to portable music players. The closed-back design eliminates audio leakage in both directions, so a microphone won't pick up click track bleed and outside noise stays out of the mix, giving you a private space to work no matter where you set up. A self-adjusting headband automatically creates a proper fit without delicate sizing mechanisms that can wear out over time, and breathable, lightweight ear pads sit around the ears rather than pressing on them. A single-sided cable adds freedom of movement during tracking. Home studio owners and project engineers get a headphone that pairs pro-level 40mm drivers with a comfortable, low-maintenance design at an accessible price point in AKG's lineup.
