A matched pair of Avante Audio A10X active loudspeakers gives a DJ or event producer stereo PA coverage out of one order, each speaker running a 10-inch woofer and 1-inch HF compression driver off 1000W of peak power (250W Class D low frequency and 50W Class AB high frequency RMS) across a 70Hz to 20kHz range. Built-in digital signal processing with an LCD screen and multiple presets lets each speaker be tuned on the unit itself, and Bluetooth 5.0 connects directly to a phone, tablet, or laptop for wireless streaming, or to the Achromic X iOS app for remote control of settings from across the room. A peak SPL of 121dB and 90 x 60 degree coverage make the pair suited to small to midsize events, from a mobile DJ setup to a bar, restaurant, or small nightclub installation. Balanced female XLR quarter-inch combo jacks and dual RCA phono inputs give flexibility connecting mixers or other audio sources, and a selectable auto-shutoff timer saves power between sets. Each speaker is built with an H-PP molded enclosure and 1.2mm steel grill, weighs 25 lb, and includes two top fly points and one rear fly point plus a dual-position pole mount for flying or ground-stacking either unit.
