A matched pair of Avante Audio A15X active loudspeakers tops the Achromic series with a 15-inch woofer and 1.35-inch HF compression driver per unit, running 1200W of peak power (350W Class D low frequency and 50W Class AB high frequency RMS) across a 45Hz to 20kHz range for the deepest low end in the lineup. Built-in digital signal processing with an LCD screen and multiple presets lets each speaker be tuned on the unit itself, and Bluetooth 5.0 connects directly to a phone, tablet, or laptop for wireless streaming, or to the Achromic X iOS app for remote control of settings. A peak SPL of 124dB and 90 x 60 degree coverage make the pair suited to larger small to midsize events that need extended low-frequency extension without adding a subwoofer. Balanced female XLR quarter-inch combo jacks and dual RCA phono inputs give flexibility connecting mixers or other audio sources, and a selectable auto-shutoff timer saves power between sets. Each speaker is built with an H-PP molded enclosure and 1.2mm steel grill, weighs 42 lb, and includes top and side handles plus two top fly points and one rear fly point for flying or ground-stacking either unit.
