A10X

The Avante Audio A10X is a 10 in, 2-way active loudspeaker from the Achromic X series, built to cover a full event from one box per side. Amplification is rated at 1000W peak, with 250W Class D on the low end and 50W Class AB on the high end, across a 70Hz-20kHz frequency range.

Onboard DSP is what makes it adaptable. An LCD screen, EQ and multiple presets let you tune the box for the room instead of fighting it, and a selectable time-out function shuts the amp down after a set period so a system left powered on overnight is not aging for no reason. The A10X also pairs with the Achromic X iOS app, so settings can be changed from an iPhone or iPad out in the room rather than behind the speaker. Bluetooth 5.0 handles that app connection and also streams audio from a phone, tablet or laptop for background music and breaks between sets.

Coverage is 90 by 60 degrees nominal with 121dB peak SPL at 1M, which suits small to midsize rooms and events. The 10 in woofer with a 2 in voice coil pairs with a 1 in HF compression driver. Inputs are a balanced female XLR and 1/4 in combo jack plus 2x RCA, with a balanced male XLR output for linking a second box.

The H-PP molded enclosure and 1.2mm steel grill keep it at 25 lb, and two fly points on top, one on the back, a dual-position pole mount and one top handle cover mobile work and permanent installs in bars, restaurants, lounges and small nightclubs.
