AC5PDMX100

The Accu-Cable AC5PDMX100 is a 100 foot 5-pin DMX cable with a male to female connection, used for data linking lighting fixtures so they can be run from a console in DMX or in primary/secondary mode.

The build is what separates it from generic cable: 22 AWG stranded (0.15 x 19) tinned copper conductors, polyethylene insulation, twisted pair with a polyethylene inner jacket, Duofoil shielding at 100% coverage plus cotton and a tinned copper braid shield at 85% coverage, all inside a PVC jacket. That double shield keeps control data clean where the cable runs next to power on a truss, which is where flickering fixtures and dropped values usually start.

It is also a no-memory cable, so it lies flat on stage instead of holding the coils and kinks from the last show, and the PVC jacket resists kinking when it gets stepped on. Heavy-duty connectors handle repeat plugging. A 100 foot run suits front truss to floor package jumps and long data runs across a stage.
