Airstream IR turns an iPhone or iPad into a wireless infrared remote for ADJ lighting fixtures. The free Airstream IR app pairs with the Airstream IR transmitter, which sends commands to any compatible fixture within 15 to 20 feet. From the app you can put fixtures into sound-active mode, trigger blackout or full on, ride the dimmer, run the strobe, change colors, cycle gobos and pick built-in shows, without touching the fixture or running a DMX line.

Twenty-four ADJ lights and effects are currently supported: Inno Pocket Spot, Inno Pocket Spot Pearl, Inno Pocket Scan, Inno Pocket Roll, Inno Pocket Wash, Inno Pocket Fusion, Inno Pocket Spot Twins, Inno Pocket Z4, Inno Pocket Beam Q4, Gobo Projector IR, Ikon IR, H2O IR, H2O DMX IR, Ricochet and ON-X.

That suits mobile DJs who rig trussing and then adjust looks from the booth, small bars where fixtures sit well out of arm's reach, and school or worship stages where nobody wants a control desk in the room. Set the headphone volume on your device all the way up when using the app and sensor so transmission stays strong. The Airstream IR transmitter is sold separately in packs of four through ADJ dealers, and the iPhone or iPad is sold separately.
