Product Description

The Data Distro 6 splits one DMX line into six outputs and supports both DMX512 and RDM, selected with a protocol switch on the unit. Six branches out of one input changes how you cable a rig: instead of one long daisy chain snaking across a stage, each truss position or zone gets its own short run.

Connections are one 5-pin XLR input, one 5-pin thru and six 5-pin outputs, plus a link out termination switch for clean line termination at the end of a chain. RDM support means you can configure and monitor compatible fixtures from the console rather than climbing to each one.

Mounting is built in. A truss mount with two Velcro straps gets the unit onto a pipe in seconds, or an M10 screw clamp can be used instead (clamp not included). At 1.83 lb and roughly 5" on each side, it lives in the air next to the fixtures it feeds, so cable runs stay short. The locking power socket keeps the unit from losing power to a bumped connector.

Power is 100-230V at 2.7W on 120V, with fuse protection, and the operating range covers -4°F to 113°F for cold warehouses and hot summer stages. It is CE and FCC compliant with IP20 rating, so indoor and covered positions. Good fits include touring rigs, festivals, houses of worship, theaters and rental inventories.

Features

    • Six Branches From One Line

Splitting one DMX input into six outputs replaces a long daisy chain with short runs to each truss position or lighting zone.

    • Configure From The Console

RDM support lets you set up and check compatible fixtures from the desk, so routine work no longer means a ladder and a lift.

    • Mounts In Seconds

The truss mount with two Velcro straps gets the unit onto a pipe fast, and an M10 screw clamp option covers permanent installs.

    • Small Enough To Fly

At 1.83 lb and roughly five inches per side, it mounts in the air next to the fixtures it feeds, keeping every cable run short.

    • Power That Stays Put

A locking power socket and fuse protection keep the splitter running when a connector gets bumped during a busy load-in.
