The DMX Operator Pro is a hybrid lighting desk that runs conventional fixtures and moving lights from one surface, sized for DJs, clubs, and small touring rigs. It controls 136 DMX channels: 128 for up to eight intelligent fixtures at 16 channels each, plus eight channels for par cans and dimmer packs. You can record 96 scenes and eight chases with individual fade and speed control, then play them back live using four speed and fade faders for manual override. A joystick handles pan and tilt on moving heads, a Group button moves more than one fixture at a time, and Tap Sync keeps chases locked to the music by hand. The Audio button triggers playback from the built-in microphone or a line-level input when you want the rig to run itself between sets. Step/Mix/Sequence playback sequences chases automatically, DMX patching sorts out fixture channels, and a fog machine trigger button fires haze from the desk. Settings and scenes back up to a 32MB Compact Flash card, so a show file survives a power problem or a move to another venue, and MIDI control lets other gear trigger the desk.
