EC163-50

The EC163-50 is a 50-foot, 16-gauge ac extension cord with an Edison socket. Fifty feet reaches from a lighting or DJ position to a wall outlet across a room, and the lighter cord coils tighter and packs smaller than 12-gauge runs. Sixteen-gauge cord is light duty, which fits LED fixtures, controllers, and other low-draw gear rather than dimmer packs or banks of incandescent par cans. Fewer joins also means fewer places for power to fail during a show, and matching the run length to the position keeps slack off the floor and out of walkways. For mobile DJs, event production crews, rental companies, and install techs, carrying the right lengths means every position gets power with the right amount of cable instead of a pile of extra to coil at the end of the night.
