American DJ ADJ ELP18IPBDA Barndoors and Gel Frame/Holder Kit For Encore LP18IP

The ADJ ELP18IPBDA is a barndoor and gel frame kit made for the Encore LP18IP LED Par. The kit includes the holder that mounts to the fixture, a gel frame and the barndoor assembly, so one part number covers both beam shaping and color correction.

Barndoors give control the fixture cannot do on its own. Four independently adjustable leaves let a tech crop the beam off a wall, keep light out of a projection screen, hold spill off a camera lens, or trim the edge of a wash so it lands only where it should. That is the difference between a stage picture that looks intentional and one that bleeds onto the audience and the drapes.

The included gel frame and holder accept standard color gel and diffusion (sold separately), which is useful when a show calls for a specific correction or a subtle break in the beam that the fixture's own optics do not provide. Frames slide in and out at the front of the fixture, so a change takes seconds during a rehearsal break.

The kit fits the Encore LP18IP only. Fixture sold separately.
