Product Description
Output is substantial: 550 square meters (5,920 square feet) of fog coverage from a dual element heating system running 2 x 1,450W at 120V, with a 4-section electronic temperature control system managing water temperature. The water tank holds 8.5 gallons (32 liters) and the motorized dry ice basket takes 26.5 lb (12 kg) of ice, dropping into the water on cue. Average run time is 5 minutes per cycle, and the cooler box holds ice for 10 hours.
Control comes three ways: built-in timer, manual operation, or DMX in 1, 2, or 6 channel modes through 3-pin and 5-pin connections. An on-board LED display with 6-button control handles setup. A water level sensor shuts the pump off automatically when the water drops too low, and a recessed drain valve at the lower front of the case makes emptying straightforward.
Initial heat time is 90 minutes at 120V, so this is a machine you power up during load-in, not five minutes before doors. Two power locking sockets feed the dual heating elements, drawing 3,000W at full output.
Stages, theatres, houses of worship, nightclubs, concert venues, and event productions use the Entour Ice when the ground fog needs to be dense and stay down.
Features
-
Fog That Stays On The Floor
Dry ice and water produce a thick, cold cloud that hugs the deck, covering 550 square meters for first dances and theatrical reveals.
-
Rolls Straight To Position
The machine lives in a road case with heavy-duty casters and a flight case cover, so load-in means wheeling it rather than lifting it.
-
Motorized Ice Handling
A locking tank with a motorized basket drops up to 26.5 lb of dry ice into the water on cue, keeping the operator out of the way.
-
Three Ways To Run It
Built-in timer, manual triggering, or DMX in 1, 2, and 6 channel modes through 3-pin and 5-pin connections fit any production workflow.
-
Protection Built In
A water level sensor cuts the pump when water runs low, and a recessed front drain valve empties the 32-liter tank after the show.
