American DJ Entour VT-1 RPM Wired Remote Control For Entour Faze/Snow/Cyclone

The ADJ Entour VT-1 is the wired remote control for Entour series atmospheric machines, including the Entour Faze, Entour Snow, and Entour Cyclone. It connects through the 1/4-inch jack on the host machine and gives you hands-on control from a position where you can actually see the effect.

That matters more than it sounds. Fog, haze, and wind machines usually sit offstage or overhead, and judging output from beside the unit is guesswork. With the VT-1 at front of house or in the wings, you set output volume by eye while watching the stage.

The remote includes an output volume control plus indicator LEDs: red for power on and green for ready, so you know the machine is heated and available before a cue lands. It runs on 25 ft (7.5 m) of cable, enough to reach a practical operating position on most stages.

For rigs with no DMX console, the VT-1 is how Entour machines get operated: manual triggering and level control without programming anything. For DMX rigs, it is a useful backup and a fast way to test output during setup.
