The ADJ EP Lens 1530Z is a high definition optical zoom lens assembly for the Encore Profile Pro WW and Encore Profile Pro Color ellipsoidals. It covers a manual 15 to 30 degree field angle range, so one lens handles the middle ground between long-throw specials and wider stage coverage.

Optically, two bi-convex aspheric lenses with anti-reflective coating carry the light through with minimal loss. Lens movement is designed for one-handed operation, letting you set field angle and focus at the same time while standing on a ladder with your other hand on the rail.

Beam shaping comes from 20 gauge stainless steel shutters. The cuts are engineered for sharp edges without halation, so a shutter cut along a set wall or proscenium reads clean rather than fuzzy. Hard and soft beam edges are adjustable, and high impact, thermally insulated knobs and shutter handles stay comfortable to touch after the fixture has been running.

Accessory handling is practical: sturdy gel frame holders with two accessory slots, plus a top mounted quick release electroplated black gel frame retainer that lets you swap frames from above without unmounting anything.
