Its wider zoom range suits shorter throw distances and broader wash coverage compared to the 15-30 option, making it a strong choice for side lighting, medium-throw front fills, and wide area coverage on stages and in venues. The optical system pairs a plano-convex aspheric front lens with a bi-convex aspheric rear lens, both with anti-reflective coating, for high light transmission.

The fluid lens movement allows one-handed adjustment of field angle and focus at the same time. 20-gauge stainless steel shutters produce sharp cuts with no halation, and high-impact thermally insulated knobs and shutter handles stay comfortable during extended focusing sessions. Adjustable hard and soft beam edges let you blend into neighboring fixtures or create defined lines.
